  • specify special dietary requirements of your in-flight meal
  • print out up to 6 boarding passes and access any special visa regulations
  • upgrade your seats and pre-book excess baggage

All you need to do when you get to the airport is deposit your bags at the Fast Bag Drop, where our friendly, helpful staff will be on hand to show you how everything works. What's more, BA is extending its Online Check-in service to all of its long-haul, short-haul and domestic flights.


You'll notice your fellow BA passengers - they'll all be wearing big grins on their faces, looking relaxed and happy. That's because they'll have checked in the night before too. Your only dilemma now is what to do with all that free time before your flight.

 
Finding your details
Simply go to ?Check in online? on the ba.com homepage up to 24 hours before you?re due to fly. Then enter your name and booking reference in the fields provided.
 
Travelling with company?
Checking in other passengers in your group? Tick the ?Check in now? box next to their names and click on ?Continue?.
 
Where are you sitting?
Select ?View or change? next to your seat number, to see exactly where you?re sitting on the seating plan.
 
Change your seat
Want to change your seat? Click on the passenger icon and drag and drop it into a new seat location. If a seat is blue it?s free. When you?ve chosenn your seat click ?Continue?.

Confirm your details
When you?re happy that all of your flight details are correct, select ?Confirm seats and check in now.?
 
Boarding pass
If it?s an option on your route, you?ll be able to print out your boarding pass. If it?s not available or you don?t have a printer, collect your boarding pass at the airport.
 
Summary
You?re now checked in. View a summary of your details on this page.

You?re ready to go
Now you?re ready to head for the airport. Don?t forget your boarding pass if you?ve printed it out.

Fast bag drop
Checked in, but still have Hold baggage? When you arrive at the airport take it to the Fast Bag Drop.
