Altera® download cables support in-system programming of Altera MAX® and configuration devices and in-circuit reconfiguration of Altera SRAM-based and embedded processor devices. The Altera Programming Unit (APU) provides the hardware and software needed for programming Altera devices, when used with the appropriate programming adapters. The Quartus® II Stand-Alone Programmer gives a designer the ability to program, verify, and examine Altera devices without the full version of the Quartus II software. |
