FRANKLIN, Ohio -- A man accused of trying to elude police by jumping from rooftop to rooftop found the gap between two buildings a little wider than he thought.

Franklin police say Christopher Watts, 32, was wanted for a parole violation when he ran from officers on Saturday.

They said he climbed atop a one-story bar, then attempted to jump to a dry cleaner's next door.

Watts missed and became stuck between the two buildings, and a fire department ladder truck was needed to pull him free.

Watts is in fair condition at a Dayton hospital. The Warren County sheriff is waiting to arrest him when he is released.
