Tasting Notes: A very feminine yet robust wine with a nice red color which reveals the surprising tastes to come. A floral, berryish and terroir nose confirms its noble and well-crafted origin. Medium- to full-bodied, it gives a nice mouth feel full of surprises. Good balance and the right level of acidity lead to a progressive finish. The Pinot Noir tames the Syrah and the Viognier ties them together. Astute sommeliers and connoisseurs are intrigued, puzzled and seduced by the artsy composition. This is a wine with a difference and is very flexible with many food options: white meats, fish and cheeses. Served room temperature or slightly cool will do it proper justice. (Date tasted 4/8/02)
