Ananova:

Two men have been arrested over the murder of a teenage boy in Kent, the Metropolitan Police said.

A force spokesman said two men, both aged in their twenties, have been arrested in connection with the murder at Verona House in Erith. Both men are in custody at a south London police station.

Police were called to a block of flats in Waterhead Close and found three injured youths, all thought to be in their mid to late teens.

All had stab wounds and one of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene, while the others were taken to the Royal London Hospital.

One of the two injured youths is still in hospital in a serious but stable condition, but the other has since been discharged.

The attack is believed to have happened after an argument in a flat.

The teenager who died has not yet been formally identified and police, who launched a murder inquiry, are in the process of tracing his next of kin.

A post-mortem examination will take place in due course.
