Coto de Caza Golf and Racquet offers two Robert Trent Jones Jr. Championship layouts. The North, a 7089 yard gem ,that opened in 1987 to rave reviews from Pro's and amateur alike, boasts 2 of the 18 best holes in Orange County. Eight years later, as Southern OC grew in size, Coto grew along with the area offering another challenge with The South. The South, a slightly shorter 6950,treats Members and Guests to a Golf Course where players meander southward through the Coto canyon never seeing a hole other than the one their playing. Together ,the two layouts offer players of all abilities the chance to test all aspects of their game.

With multiple Tee's, and slope ratings ranging from 117 - 147 for the men and 128 - 138 for the ladies, new players as well as the most experienced can test their games to the fullest at Coto. The North courses' forced carry tee shots and large undulating greens treat players to a unique experience. The majestic Saddleback Peak serves as a back drop for a wonderful golf day as players enjoy their journey around the track many believe to be the best course in Southern Cal. The South course, with Hazards bordering most every shot ,has become known more as a shot makers course. Water Hazards, smaller greens, and winding doglegs challenge players to not only hit all the clubs ,but to also use their imagination and play with strategy not only strength.
