Porter Valley Country was established in 1968 with Ted Robinson as the Senior Course Architect. With kikuya grass fairways and rough, and the significant elevation changes on some holes, the course plays significantly longer than 6,090 yards from blue tees. Par is 70 and is rated 70.6 with a slope of 129. From the white tees the course plays to 5769 yards with a rating and slope of 69.2/126. The reds play to 5476 yards and rated at 72.5 with a slope of 128.
