| | Ticket/Flight Coupon Refunds | Our Ticket Refund Site at www.refunds.aa.com* gives you access to the following options: Request a refund online You will receive immediate feedback about the eligibility of your ticket and be presented with options regarding your ticket and refund request.
This option will also allow you to view a copy of your ticket which you can print for records/expense reports.
Lost Ticket Application If you have lost your paper ticket/flight coupons, choose this option.
Check Refund Status Use this feature to check status on previously submitted refund requests.
Find Ticket Number Use this feature to find UNUSED TICKETS that are LESS THAN 13 MONTHS OLD. For additional information regarding ticket refunds, please visit the Refunds Help page* on our Ticket Refund site.

| | Cargo And Priority Parcel Service (PPS) Refunds | In the event that your shipment experiences conditions resulting in a loss or damage, you may submit an AA Cargo Claim Form. Please print and complete the form, and send it to the fax number or address provided below. Be sure to include copies of all forms, invoices and information pertinent to your claim. A representative from American Airlines Cargo division Claims Administration will acknowledge your claim within 15 days of the receipt of your correspondence. However, if further investigation is required, please allow 30-60 days for a final resolution of the claim.

| | American Airlines Vacations Tour Package Refunds | Application for refunds, if permitted, must be made in writing within 30 days of scheduled return and must be accompanied by all negotiable tour vouchers and air tickets. Allow 4-8 weeks for processing.

| | AAdvantage Award Travel Mileage Reinstatement | | If you have not used your AAdvantage award ticket and it has not expired, you can request to have your AAdvantage mileage reinstated. Partially used tickets cannot be reinstated and miles that would have expired will not be reinstated. When requesting a reinstatement, a $100 USD processing fee will be charged per account for the first award. Any additional awards reinstated to the same account at the same time will have a $25 USD per award add-on fee. If you have an electronic ticket and wish to reinstate your AAdvantage mileage, please call 1-800-882-8880 to cancel your reservation and request your mileage reinstatement.
