Every Atlas STG unit brings the tools needed to handle, protect and transport your valuable cargo.
Air-Ride Suspension Systems on both trailer and tractor provide shock protection and a smooth ride. Special controls direct road shocks and dampen lateral roll for added stability.
Climate Control Vans are fully insulated and equipped with diesel-powered cooling-and-heating units. Each features a high-capacity 50-to-1 compressor ratio to keep out the desert heat. And, with 78% more heating capacity than other units, these vans are ideal for frigid-climate runs. An exterior panel on the trailer is in the van operator's sight at all times and allows constant monitoring of the trailer status — alerting the van operator to temperature variances within plus or minus 5 degrees Fahrenheit. Atlas climate control vans operate on extended maintenance schedules to lessen the chance of malfunction during transit.
Hydraulic Lift Gates with up to 5,500 lb. capacity are standard on every trailer in our fleet. These gates provide easy access for ground loading or unloading. They can also extend 8 to 12 inches above the floor of the trailer for access to higher docks.
Roll-On Ramps, made of lightweight and durable aluminum, are useful for loading and unloading heavy equipment. Each van includes three six-foot ramps, stored beneath the floor to maximize available trailer space.
Aluminum Cargo Beams and 3/4-inch plywood sheets are useful as decking to secure the load. Both are stored beneath the van floor to maximize available trailer space.
Hydraulic Rol-a-Lifts can lift and smoothly roll items up to 4,000 lb. They are ideal for electronic equipment.
Hydraulic Pallet Jacks make it easy to raise and lower wooden pallets and roll them into place.
Clips and Tie-Down Straps secure cargo to logistic tracks inside the trailer, preventing equipment from moving during transit.
Six-Foot J-Bar provides leverage that is useful for moving large crates.
Heavy-Duty Hand Truck allows a person to easily load and unload cartons of various sizes.
Heavyweight Pads surround and protect delicate equipment during transport. Each van contains 12 dozen.
Electronic Machine Dolly makes it easy to move heavy or cumbersome electronic equipment up and down stairs.
Four-Wheel Dollies provide easy mobility for crates, cartons, and light machines. Each trailer includes eight units.
Every Atlas Specialized Transportation tractor and trailer is equipped with air-ride suspension. Our tests and experience show that this full air-ride suspension (tractor and trailer) assures the best ride, with the least "G" force, shock and vibration.
Atlas-designed trailers utilize precise climate control systems to control temperature within specified tolerances. Super-insulated trailers combined with powerful climate-control units provide unfailing protection, even in extreme environments.
