BALLS OF FURY:
BEHIND THE SCENES WITH BIBA GOLIC

As part of our collaboration with Balls of Fury, Killerspin's BiBa Golic made her Hollywood debut in the film! We talked to the table tennis turned movie star to find out what's all the 'racket' about behind the scenes for this upcoming ping pong movie!

Balls of Fury featuring BiBaKillerspin: You've done plenty of promotional and spokesperson work for Killerspin, but this is your first Hollywood film. Although being an actor may seem very glamorous, many people do not realize that filming can be tedious and very time consuming. Was your experience glam, and how much time did you spend on the set?

BiBa: I felt very fortunate to have the opportunity to be surrounded with actors and producers in a movie of this caliber and to try out acting. When I arrived on set instead of waiting for my scene, they immediately asked me to be an "extra", so I jumped right in. I eagerly awaited my next assignment, which was a segment where I played the role of myself in a table tennis tournament. It was very exciting! I did not even notice that I had spent the whole day on the set.

Killerspin: What did you like most about working on Balls of Fury?

BiBa: Having the chance to be on the set, getting a window into the world of cinema, and meeting some of the lead actors. It was altogether an amazingly interesting experience for me. What I liked the most was being included in the creative process and having fun at the same time. I could not wait for the next "action!"

Killerspin: Did you feel like a movie star when working on it (diva trailer, white glove treatment) or was it just another day at work?

BiBa: Oh, it was way more then just another day at work. Since it was my first experience of this kind, everything seemed glamorous to me. I almost did feel like a movie star, despite the fact there was no diva trailer. It felt just as exciting, nevertheless.

Killerspin: Is there an acting career in the horizon for BiBa Golic?

BiBa: There is certainly is a possibility... Since Balls of Fury, I have been involved in some other movie and TV projects, so one might say that I am moving in that direction. We'll see...
