Alpenbitter #7

The Alpen Libra 1 1/2 oz Alpenbitter, over ice, fill with cola, lime garnish
The Alpen Spritzer 1 1/2 oz Alpenbitter, over ice, fill with soda, lemon or lime wedge  
The Ginger Snap 1 1/2 oz Alpenbitter, over ice, fill with gingerale  
The Alpendriver 1 1/2 oz Alpenbitter, over ice, fill with orange juice  
The Alpen Summit 1/4 oz Alpenbitter, 3/4 oz Small Cask Brandy, over
crushed ice; add soda, gingerale or tonic to taste; lemon garnish
 
The Matterhorn 1/4 oz Alpenbitter, 3/4 oz Small Cask Brandy, over ice  
The Barbarian 1/4 oz Alpenbitter, 3/4 oz Inferno Vodka, over ice  
The Alpenhorn 1/4 oz Alpenbitter, 3/4 oz Prince Igor Vodka, over ice  
The Black Knight 1 oz Bolivar Coffee Liqueur, over ice  

 

Ice Wine & Brandy Salad Dressing

bullet1/2 cup olive oil
bullet4 tbsp. lime juice
bullet1 tbsp. Ice Wine & Brandy
bullet1 clove minced garlic
bullet1 tbsp. grated ginger
bulletsalt & pepper to taste

 

Bolivar Coffee Liqueur Bolivar

Bolivar SMOOTHIE
bullet2 oz. Bolivar Coffee Liqueur
bullet2 oz. Bolivar Cream Liqueur
bullet1 cup half & half cream
bullet3 large scoops of vanilla ice cream
bulletChocolate shavings or sprinkles
  1. Combine ingredients (except sprinkles) in a blender.
  2. Blend thoroughly until smooth and pour into champagne
    style glasses or small brandy snifters.
  3. Sprinkle with chocolate & serve.
    (serves 6-8 depending on size of glass)
Bolivar CHOCOLATE CAKE
bullet2 cups flour
bullet1 1/2 tspns Baking Soda
bullet1/2 tsp. salt
bullet3/4 cups cold water
bullet1 cup mayonnaise
bullet1 cup white sugar
bullet1 1/2 tspns baking powder
bullet2 tbls cocoa
bullet1/4 cup Bolivar Cream Liqueur
bullet2 tspns vanilla
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Blend together the first six ingredients.
  3. Add water, Bolivar Cream Liqueur, Mayonnaise and vanilla.
  4. Mix thoroughly.
  5. Pour into an 8" x 8" cake pan and bake for 50 minutes.
Bolivar CAKE FROSTING
bullet1 cup sugar
bullet1/8 cup milk
bullet1/4 cup cocoa
bullet1/8 cup Bolivar Coffee Liqueur
bullet1/4 cup butter
bullet1 teaspoon vanilla
  1. Combine first 5 ingredients.
  2. Bring to a boil while stirring constantly.
  3. Boil for one minute.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla
  5. Let cool until desired consistency
    (about 1 1/2 hours at room temperature)
        Bolivar
        CHOCOLATE FONDUE
bullet10 oz semi-sweet chocolate
bullet3/4 cup light cream
bullet1/4 cup Bolivar Liqueur
bulletsponge cake & fruit
bulletfresh fruits such as oranges,
grapes or strawberries
  1. In a sauce pan, melt chocolate with cream over low heat,
    stirring until smooth.
  2. If desired, chocolate can be easily melted in a microwave.
  3. Add Bolivar. Transfer to fondue pot or chafing dish.
  4. Serve with sponge cake or fruit pieces cut into bite-size chunks.
  5. Makes two servings.

BLACK RUSSIAN Bolivar

1 1/4 oz. of Bolivar, 1 1/4 oz. of Prince Igor Vodka, Pour over ice... Garnish with lime.

WHITE RUSSIAN Bolivar

1 1/4 oz. of Bolivar, 1 1/4 oz. of Prince Igor Vodka, Pour over ice... Add milk or cream.

SPANISH COFFEE Bolivar

Rim edge of a brandy snifter with lemon. Add sugar to the moistened edge. Pour in hot black coffee (1/2 full).
Add 1 1/4oz. of Bolivar. Top with whip cream and sprinkle with Small Cask Brandy.
