Jr. Test/QA Engineer
Full-time Position
Description
An exciting opportunity for highly motivated programming/engineering oriented individuals in the field of Image Processing. Activities will include becoming an expert with AccuSoft’s ImageGear product line, which runs on Windows, Mac and Unix platforms. This role will work closely with engineering team to design and execute test plans and procedures. Testing procedures include documentation verification, installation validation, and product accuracy verification.
This person will work closely with Engineering, Documentation, Program Management and Technical Support departments, and will participate in projects from early design stages, driving them through to final product release.
Initiative, willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities, attention to detail, and reliability required.
Responsibilities
- Executing and reporting on benchmark tests
- Reporting on product deficiencies found during testing
- Designing and Writing interactive product tests
- Participating in QA design and review processes
- Product Documentation review for content and accuracy
- Verifying fixes and final product validation
Skills
- Programming experience in C/C++, C#, Visual Basic
- Experience with multiple operating systems (Windows, UNIX, Linux, Mac)
- Familiarity with image file formats or data/image processing desired
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Must be detail oriented
- Able to interface directly with cross-functional teams, and participate in defect triage meetings and problem solving interactions with the team
- Software quality assurance or software development experience preferred
Education
- 4-year degree (BS or BE) in computer science or related field is desirable, equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of education level
Regional Inside Sales Representative
Full-time Position
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
AccuSoft is looking for experienced Inside Sales Representatives to drive and expand sales of its market leading imaging software. Specifically, you will be responsible for selling software development toolkits and deployment licensing to both new and established accounts across North America in a wide variety of end user verticals and packaged software vendors with target markets including medical imaging firms, government agencies and contractors, financial services, on-line services, scanner/printer/camera manufacturers, etc.
Key Requirements
You must have a consistent, proven track record of building a pipeline and successfully closing software sales in excess of $1.0M annually with an average transaction size of $15K and experience working opportunities in excess of $100K. Besides handling inbound electronic leads and phone inquiries, you must also be experienced making back-to-the-base calls and cold calls to new target accounts in your region. You must be comfortable calling on technical end users in Fortune 1000 companies in a very competitive market and have successful experience dealing and negotiating with C-level executives. You should have 3 or more years of experience in inside sales of software development tools/applications licensing and have a very firm grasp and understanding of the software development process. A BS or BA is desired. Experience with digital imaging, document/content management and web-based solutions is highly desirable.
Web Software Engineer

Description
AccuSoft is seeking a software engineer to join the development team of one of its affiliates.
The successful applicant will have an excellent knowledge and several years of experience with .NET, C#, MS SQL, ASP.NET, and Web UI design and development.
In addition we are seeking a candidate who is able to work well in a development team, and to be able to interface with other functional groups such as customer support, Q/A and sales. The ideal candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, excel in a fast paced environment and have completed a 4 year degree in computer science or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, deploy, test, debug, and support ASP.NET DB driven applications
- Develop functional/design specifications and assessment of customers’ requirements
- Work with QA department to assist in developing test plans
Skills
- Excellent knowledge of and advanced programming skills in C# are required, 3+ years experience programming in C# is required
- 3+ years experience working with ASP.NET is required, experience working with MS AJAX is beneficial
- Excellent knowledge of MS SQL Server is required, experience building and using databases in MS SQL is required
- Experience with Web UI design is beneficial
- Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects using the iterative development approach
- Must possess good written and verbal communication skills and be proficient at working as an individual contributor as well as a technical lead for a team of developers
Education
- 4-year degree (BS or BE) in computer science or related discipline is required
