Optimum Computer Systems was started in 1999 when Optimum Management, a former Cise structure and the Saur Group's computing systems department amalgamated. The general re-organization of the Group's information system was initiated in 1995, and its major goals were to set up more homogenous systems.

Its present mission is to manage the Group's entire computing system and the material used by companies operating in France (Saur in France, Saur International, Stereau and Coved).

Optimum's 300 technicians manage more than 8,500 stations in France and internationally.
