Stereau is a leading specialist in engineering, constructing and commissioning water treatment plants for local authorities and industrial customers. Stereau is the third largest operator in the water treatment plant engineering and construction market in France.

Stereau primarily builds drinking water production plants, wastewater purification plants and industrial process water treatment plants. In addition, it builds disposal and treatment plants for sub-products such as sludge, grit, sand and greases, and for odor treatment. Stereau offers a wide range of services, including commissioning, project management and engineering.

As of March 31, 2006 Stereau had 55 plants under construction. It is currently managing some of the largest water distribution and water sanitation projects in progress in France, including wastewater treatment plants in Paris, Lyon, Tours and Brive and two large drinking water plants using ultra-filtration membrane technology.

Thanks to its 200 staff, Stereau had revenues of €109 million during the fiscal year ended March 31, 2006.
