Calligraphy Selection!

Now choose from sixty different calligraphy renderings of words and phrases often used in lectures by Aikido's founder, Morihei Ueshiba. Brushed by Hiroshi Ikeda, each piece is an original, no two are exactly alike and each bears Ikeda sensei's signature. Available now on four media: crisp white canvas, stretched canvas, canvas panel board and Bristol board; and in a number of sizes ranging from 11" x 14" to a new large size of 20" x 50". All are available in either vertical or horizontal configuration. We've updated our Ikeda Calligraphy pages for your convenience.

Calligraphy Greeting Cards

When that special occasion warrants an equally special remembrance or memento, send your thoughts on a one-of-a-kind greeting card. Twelve unique calligraphy brushings by Hiroshi Ikeda make up this beautiful twelve-card set. Each card is handmade with flowing calligraphy and signature brushed on natural rice paper overlaid on a textured white card. Gift packaged with twelve matching envelopes.
